This stunning realistic carving is "Lame Buffalo" of the Cherokee Nation. Lame Buffalo was a Shaman or spiritual leader in his nation. He believed if you killed injured buffalo or other animals to feed you families it would take the spirit of that buffalo and those animals would vanish forever. 
Lame Buffalo stands 14" tall and has a clear shellac finish.
