This web site was intended to be all about my wood carving and primarily about great Indian Chieftan's. As you can see now my interest has changed and it's all about wood.
As my collection of carving grew, I found myself searching for more space to display them. It was never my intention to sell my carving however when the word got out and a picture of my crafts hit the public eye, I was all in! Soon, I was carving one a week to include still make hiking sticks and Cane's with carving on them as well.
Everyone wanted one of my creations! As fast as I could finish one and start another it was sold. I never stopped to think I was retired and suppose to take it easy. Well, that was far from the truth. I was spending more time on my Hobbies than own my forty-hour week "JOB". Someone ask if I took on commission creations and that's when my enthusiasm diminished! Soon the very thing that brought me here was now gone! My imagination was now a little foggy and I found it very hard to see in a piece of wood as I once did. For an artist with a cloudy imagination, you don't get very far. It wasn't fun anymore!
There comes a time in everyone's life that you just got to step back and re-think
where you are headed!
